Like most, I am not immune, and every now and then need to take a step back to regain perspective. As we go about our daily lives, it is all too easy to get caught up in our routines and lose ourselves along the way. Sometimes it’s simply a matter of going for a coffee, a walk or drive, and realizing exactly how blessed we are. Living and working in the area, it sometimes takes a different point of view to see this clearly. Just the other day I took some time, sneaking out of the office, to indulge myself with one of my favourite pastimes. On this particularly sunny spring day I decided to go up 2500 feet and shoot some of the many beautiful views of the receding ice on the Owen Sound waterfront and harbour.
