It looks like its going to be a perfect day for the event, and great weather the entire weekend and into next week so get out and take advantage of those beautiful summer rays - ITS OFFICIALLY SUMMER!

Here is what is happening this week in Owen Sound:

Ride Don’t Hide Grey-Bruce 2019
Sunday June 23rd, 7am-1pm
Kelso Beach Registration is $45 and includes a dry-fit shirt, entertainment & BBQ lunch. Kids under 12 are free. Ride Don’t Hide is the largest mental health bike ride in Canada with almost 10,000 riders and hundreds more family members, friends and volunteers across Canada taking part, raising more than $2 million each year for the Canadian Mental Health Association. There is a short family-friendly route within Kelso Beach, plus individuals can participate in their choice of a  6.6km, 25km, 50, 80 or 100 km along our beautiful Georgian Bay.

Saints & Sinners: Taste of the Trail
Sunday June 23rd, 1-6pm

Dress in your 1920s best and come taste samples from local beer, wine, cider, and spirits producers. Snack on delicious food from local vendors. Get moving with live music. And watch out for the prohibition protests, the rowdy partiers, and the paddy wagon scooping up trouble makers! Don't forget to find out the secret password so you can enter the Speakeasy - known for its bootlegged liquor. Perhaps you'll even meet in infamous gangster who owns the Black Rabbit. Harbour Nights Concert Series
Sunday June 23rd, 7-8:30pm
1155 1st Avenue West
Concerts take place at the beautiful inner-harbour behind Owen Sound's Visitor Centre. Please bring your lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the occasion. In the event of rain, the concert may be moved indoors to the Owen Sound Legion auditorium, at 1450 2nd Avenue West. There is no admission charge for Harbour Nights concerts, although donations are gratefully accepted.

Annie Bus Trip
Tuesday June 25th, 9am-6pm
The bus will depart from the Bayshore Community Centre for the Drayton Theatre.This seven Tony Award winning musical is about little orphan Annie who escapes the clutches of her orphanage matron to spend a holiday in a billionaire's mansion. Based on an old comic strip, "Annie" provides excellent entertainment and provides the experience of never giving up hope.  Seats are limited so book early.

Tuesday Night Paddle
Tuesday June 25th, 6:30- 8pm
Meet at the West Side Boat Launch, 1455, 1st Ave West, at 6:30, new paddlers and beginning paddlers welcome to try.

Bi-Monthly Open Mic Night

Enjoy a fun night out  with host Aaron Top and no feature band yet so hit us up it interested for the 8:15 slot for a 1/2 hour!  Come support and enjoy the great music! Join Irma of Irma Designs Studio for this one-of-a-kind workshop! You'll leave with your own unique dream catcher that you've created using timeless materials including wood, beads, feathers, leather etc. Space is limited, register to save your spot! Owen Sound ArtWalk! 2019
