TD Harbour Nights Concert Series

Concerts take place at the beautiful inner-harbour behind Owen Sound's Visitor Centre. Please bring your lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the occasion. In the event of rain, the concert may be moved indoors to the Owen Sound Legion auditorium, at 1450 2nd Avenue West. There is no admission charge for Harbour Nights concerts, although donations are gratefully accepted.

OSU Cancer Fundraiser
Sunday August 11th, 5-9pm
Owen Sound Soccer Complex
A Cancer Fundraiser to help raise funds for Charlene Montgomery and the Cancer Society. This is a family friendly event, so bring everyone you know. There will be a BBQ and snacks as well as fun and games from 5-7pm, followed up by our very own Men's OSU home game against the IST Serbia at 7pm.

Community Luncheon and Small Crafts

Come and learn how to make 'Indian Tacos' at 10.30 am. Followed by Community Luncheon from 12.30 - 2pm. Also small crafting after eating!

Poetry Workshops

Calling all poets! We all have something to say, and we say it best when we say it in verse.
Join Owen Sound poet Richard-Yves Sitoski for two workshops for everyone interested in exploring poetry. Novices can get their feet wet and more experienced practitioners can up their game. Together we'll explore ways of getting over writer's block, the use of prompts to get the juices flowing, different modes and kinds of verse, and techniques for honing style. Monday's workshop will deal with written verse and Tuesday's will focus on spoken word.
Cost: $45 each day, or $75 for both days
